Sophistiplate is the partyware solution you've been searching for my friends! It's all disposable and available in pretty much any color you can imagine, and even some patterns too. It's mostly made of paper with a few plastic options as well. Most of the plates also have these gorgeous ruffled edges that I just adore. My favorite part of the line is, by far, the chargers. I love bringing chargers into a party for that extra special touch but chargers are difficult to stock in order to rent out because it's hard to have the right colors and quantities needed for every party and purchasing them new for each party is just not cost effective, not to mention they're also very heavy to lug around. So Sophistiplate really solves this dilemma.
They approached me to style a party for them with any combination of plates that I wanted to use from their entire collection! (Insert heart eyes emoji here). After first sifting through their website and then through the stacks and stacks of plates they sent me to curate the best combination, I finally narrowed it down to my absolute favorite combination. I love this set because I feel that it is really versatile, I wanted something that would work for both kids and adults. I wanted to design 2 parties using the same set but just changing a few items (like the runner and cups for example) to show how it could be used in either. I opted for a Minnie theme for the kids version but it could also be used for fairy, tea parties, Hello Kitty parties and more. Then for the adult version, I focused on a Kate Spade inspired look that could be used for a baby shower, bridal shower, brunch, birthday, pretty much anything that's fun and girly.
