I have been wanting to incorporate more Disney content here and there into my blog because it's a pretty big part of my life actually. We have been annual pass holders since well before Lilah was born, for several years now. And we still are. We only live 3 hours away and visit fairly often. I know a lot of people are afraid to bring their young kids but we have been bringing Lilah since she was about 9 months old and would highly encourage anyone that's on the fence about bringing a baby or toddler, to give it a try and create wonderful Disney memories for your family. She has loved going since day one, and seeing her little face light up the way it does when we go, is honestly just as good as it gets. I very distinctly remember our first time bringing her, around Christmas time {the BEST time}.

A few pro tips for bringing your toddler to Disney World:

1. Get fast passes!! You can reserve up to 3 attractions and all of your dining easily ahead of time online. This way you can have a plan and won't have to wait in lines. Seriously, don't skip this step!!

2. Don't try to do it all. Disney can be overwhelming for tired, little kids. Go in with a relaxed attitude and don't try to do everything in one day. Allow time for a nap or a little stroll. You can even leave and come back in later to avoid doing too much at once.

3. Come prepared. Bring some snacks and waters for the kids and maybe a stroller fan if it is hot out. The more comfortable they are, the happier everyone will be.

The best toddler rides in my opinion are Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom. The best place to meet characters without a crazy line is the somewhat hidden character spot by the Storybook Circus in Fantasyland {Magic Kingdom}

MY FAVORITE DISNEY MEMORY

Lilah was newly 2, and up wayyyy past her bedtime. We took a risk on a late fast pass to see her favorite character, Minnie Mouse. The reason it felt like a risk was because, for one it was late, and for two, some toddlers are afraid of characters, though I had a feeling she wouldn't be. So anyway, when we got into the room, she couldn't take her eyes off Minnie Mouse. She watched her every move and when we got closer to the front, we had to hold her back from running up there. Finally when it was her turn, she ran up and gave Minnie Mouse the biggest hug with the sweetest smile on her face, it just melted my mama heart into a million pieces. I was swallowing back tears of excitement for her because I knew how genuinely happy she was to be meeting Minnie, her absolute favorite. Then to top it off, I swear this sounds like a movie but it really happened, we opened the door upon walking out and the most amazing fireworks show had just started directly above us. It was truly, well, magical. For me, these are the moments that make life worth living. Will she remember this years from now? I don't know, but it doesn't matter.

To remind me of the good times and my favorite place, I designed this KEEP Collective bracelet to wear whenever I want. I have a few charms that I change out depending on my outfit but I think it looks so pretty and chic with the black bracelet and rose gold charms. Minnie to remind me of the memory above, Lilah's birthstone, and the 2 dates that mean a lot to me, personally. I love wearing this little reminder of a place that brings us such joy and beautiful Disney memories.
