1. Picking Your Disney World Trip Dates: When picking the date of your trip, I very highly recommend checking a crowd calendar and going on lesser crowded dates if possible. Weekdays are the best if you can swing it!
2. Disney Fast Passes: If you do nothing else, book your fast passes in advance! You can book up to 3 fast passes per day before your trip, 60 days in advance if you're staying at a Disney resort or 30 days in advance otherwise. They get you through lines SO much faster. If you want to go on more than 3 rides, make sure to book your favorite or the most popular rides for your first 3. You can only book fast passes from the app after your first 3 have been used.
3. Disney Dining: Unless you only want to eat at quick serve restaurants, you will need to make dining reservations. You can make them from the app up to 180 days in advance. Character dining fills up super fast, especially in the castle, so I recommend making those reservations as soon as you are able.
4. What to Wear to Disney World: You will be walking A LOT, and mostly outside so definitely take note of the weather and dress accordingly. If theres any chance of rain, definitely pack a poncho as the rain can be very hard to escape.
5. What to Bring: I always pack some small snacks and a couple of waters. And definitely bring wipes or hand sanitizer to wash your hands off after rides to avoid getting sick. Bring a poncho if there's any chance of rain. Try not to pack too heavy because it can be annoying to lug a lot around. I usually bring a small backpack or a cross body bag.
6. Transportation: There's so many methods of transportation into the parks. If your hotel has a boat, monorail, or train, definitely take advantage. Parking is $20 and you have to park at the Transportation Center and take the boat or monorail into the actual park. No matter the method you chose, allow for about 45 minutes to get into Magic Kingdom, especially if you chose to drive.
7. Money Saving Disney Hack: You can purchase Disney gift cards {you can use anywhere in the parks} at Target with your Redcard for 5% off!
The Fireworks, specifically those at Magic Kingdom, are worth the crowds and the wait! I Promise!
