Walt Disney World at Christmas Time

Disney World at Christmas is truly magical. It's absolutely the best time of year to visit Disney World. The Christmas decorations are so beautiful and the weather doesn't get any better. As you guys know, I am a Disney World annual pass holder. So we visit during Christmas almost every single year. This year I went earlier than usual to catch a first glimpse of the Christmas magic the day it went up and it did not disappoint! Each Disney World park has it's own special Christmas experience during November and December. No matter what park your plans take you to, you're sure to catch some Christmas cheer.

Disney World At Christmas

Christmas at Disney Springs

Disney Springs boasts 150 shops and restaurants making it the perfect destination for your Christmas shopping. They have special Disney merchandise that you won't find anywhere else and plenty of non Disney merchandise too. There are Christmas decorations and tunes throughout to get you in the spirit while you shop and dine. There is also a Christmas Tree Trail featuring 27 Christmas trees inspired by Disney. You might even get to catch some snow flurries on your walk through. You can also grab a photo with Santa while you're there.

Christmas at Magic Kingdom

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Magic Kingdom theme park is dressed head to toe with incredible Christmas and holiday decorations for all to see but the real magic is at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You do need to purchase separate park tickets for this event but for anyone that loves celebrating Christmas, it certainly is worth it.

The party is from 7pm-12am on select nights but you can get in as early as 4pm with your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. The castle glows with white lights as snow falls down Main Street at Downtown Disney. Because this is a special event, there is a much smaller crowd and shorter wait times. During the event, guests can enjoy complimentary sweets and sips from designated spots while watching a Christmas parade or the show stopping fireworks show. The fireworks show at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is hands down their best nighttime spectacular. It's just an incredible site to see, for guests of all ages.

Christmas at Epcot

At Epcot, you can enjoy Christmas around the world with special food and drink offerings just for the Holidays. You can also take a "cookie stroll". Much like their "wine walk", you get a booklet and collect stamps as you get cookies at specified locations. After your 5th stamp, you get one more special cookie and a tall glass of cold milk. After that, be sure to stay for the fireworks show to catch the Holiday finale! Beginning on Thanksgiving night, you can also hear the story of Christmas to an orchestra and choir in the Christmas Candlelight Processional.

Christmas at Disney Hollywood Studios

Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! is Hollywood Studio's signature Holiday fireworks show that runs all season long. It's an incredible display complete with falling snow. You can also meet Santa at Hollywood Studios during the Holidays! Make sure to arrive early because it does get crowded.
