Party Styling FAQ



What is a Celebration Stylist?
Much like a clothing stylist, a party stylist makes sure all of the pieces of your event work together for a cohesive look and feel. We also create custom backdrops, banners, and props to give your event that special touch. We coordinate all the decor for your event. Not to be confused with a party planner, that organizes timelines and other vendors. We will discuss every detail of your party including activities (if any) and what food and desserts should be offered in order to create the ambiance you're looking for but we only actually handle decor, aesthetics, and decor related vendors. Though we can make recommendations on food, cake, and entertainment vendors should you need suggestions.  

We style parties for local clients that hire us in Palm Beach and Broward Counties as well as for companies all over which I promote on my instagram and blog. We design all of the decor and make a lot of it ourselves. If we don’t make it, then we at least embellish and personalize it. The cake table is usually the main focus followed by the guest tables and centerpieces then the entrance and photo booths etc.

Can I just buy party supplies on Etsy and do it myself?
While we do create unique pieces, much like many Etsy sellers do, we are also providing a service that goes much beyond that. We design every aspect of your event making sure no detail goes unnoticed and most importantly that every piece coordinates. We also provide the "fill in the gap" pieces like cake stands, risers, linens, and custom props that you wouldn't purchase just for one event. Our stylist also provides the set up and break down to ensure you can actually enjoy your special day. Our invoices often amount to less than what you would spend if you did it yourself due to our in house rental items, sources, connections, and creativity. We can work with your budget.

I already ordered some things for my party, can you incorporate those in to my event?
While we do recommend that we handle all of the ordering so that we can maintain a cohesive look, if you have specific things you'd like us to use or order, we can certainly do that. We encourage our clients to send us photos of things they like or invite us to their Pinterest boards so we can ensure that we are designing your event to your liking.

What is included in your fee?
Hours and hours of time go into planning each party. The flat fee includes:        
  • Meeting, Traveling, and Correspondence 
  • Planning, Designing, and Advising
  • On Location Set up and Break Down
  • Styling, Curating, Embellishing, and Crafting of Party Props
  • Ordering and Arranging Decor Vendors and Rentals
Everything else is itemized on your invoice.
