4th of July Cookies and Milk Party

Thanks to Oriental Trading, I was able to throw together this super cute cookies and milk 4th of July Party. I love the look of a clean, white, modern party with pops of bright color. And I also love cookies and milk! Unlike a lot of my other parties, I wanted to keep this one simple. And it's symmetry makes my OCD self so happy. This is great for kids and even adults too. The cookies and star marquee are both from Target. Everything else is from Oriental Trading. They have such a great selection of colors and patterns so I had a little fun with it!

I thought these polka dot napkins and striped plates were modern and just a little unexpected paired with the chevron and star patterns. The pinwheels remind me of the outdoors and added some color. And these straws!! Ah I love them!!! I opted out of a backdrop and just did a few white balloons that mostly blend in. They add a little interest but don't detract from the bright colors of everything else that I wanted to pop.
