DIY FIRST BIRTHDAY HIGH CHAIR BANNER

My Superhero 1st Birthday Party highchair is by far one of my most pinned photos and Lilah's gold high chair collected a lot of likes on my instagram so I figured it was probably time to share how I make my own DIY high chair banner. They are so perfect for a first birthday party and can made to fit any theme. It's very easy and surprisingly inexpensive. The highchair is from Ikea and is only $19.99. Truth be told this is Lilah's everyday highchair now. I got rid of my $100 something highchair for this one and have zero regrets. It can be wiped hosed down so easily and it's just the right height for her to join us at the table.

All I did to create this high chair banner was spray paint the legs BEFORE I attached them and then used my Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine to cut out the vinyl monograms. If you don't have a Cricut, there are plenty of Etsy sellers that offer custom cut vinyl for fairly inexpensive. You can also try your hand at cutting out your design on a vinyl sheet with scissors, if it's not too intricate. Add a banner if you'd like and you're all set! Super easy. It holds up pretty well but you do have to be careful about the legs as the spray paint can scratch off over time I've noticed. Altogether the entire thing ended up costing less than $40, it's a high impact piece for little cost and effort.
