I styled this party a while ago and then never posted it. Time just got away from me and it doesn't completely fit the {usually} pink theme of my Instagram. But I do love it and it seemed like you did too based on the feedback I got from my Instastories so in honor of "National Chocolate Chip Day" {yes, it's real} here it is.
This was my second time styling a party for this family. Maxwell loves Sesame Street but we decided to go a more modern route and pick just one character {Cookie Monster} and I'm so glad we did. The awning is my favorite part. I just attached black and white fabric to it for the backdrop to the table. The banner is just a basic blue plastic banner with white polka dots that I drew little googly eyes on. The cookie banner I made with my Cricut of course. And the paper mache letters I found at Hobby Lobby and spray painted a glossy white. I used similar letters and 2 different colors of spray paint to ombre the NOM NOM centerpiece down the kids table. The shag rug is the same fabric that you saw me use in this post, except I got it in blue and it fit perfectly, it looks just like Cookie Monster. The matching blue chairs just happened to be what the venue has for kids so that couldn't have worked out more perfectly. Lastly, the Maxwell Street sign, I DIYed on a whim as a entrance sign with supplies I picked up from the craft store.
