I put this fun Easter party for kids together with my lovely assistant, Lilah. I wanted to do something different than egg decorating since Lilah and her friends are so young (she's only 2) and cookie decorating seemed like a great option. I found the cookie kit at Target but you could definitely DIY it with cookies, icing, and fun toppings. I served milk because nothing else goes as perfectly with cookies, as milk. All of the party supplies are from Crated. I got the Mini Minty Fresh Crate and it came with the plates, napkins, cups, straws, forks, bags and then some. I just added my own banner, cake stand, and some Easter eggs and we were good to go. Now that Lilah is getting a little older and has some friends, I love doing little gatherings for them for the holidays and different occasions and this was definitely a winner. As much as I love pink, I wanted to use lots of colors for spring so the mint with the pink cake stand and yellow banner turned out to be a great combo. If you don't have a kid's table like I do you can easily set this up on a coffee table with some pillows on the floor for the kids to sit on. The to go bags that came with the kit were perfect to send the kids home with their creations. Other moms love when you send their kids home with sugar right? :-)
