My daughter, Lilah’s, birthday party is always my favorite party of the year. Her first birthday was a colorful boho inspired party and her second birthday was a Minnie Mouse party {still one of my top posts to date}. I pour my heart and soul into every detail for her. I know exactly what she likes and try to bring it to life. This year, in true 3 year old fashion, she requested a “Pink Princess Belle Party”. If you've been following me for a reallyyy long time, you know that I've done another Beauty and the Beast party before, but it was more traditional and true to the movie. She wanted something pink and more focused on Belle {the blue Belle, to be exact} and I think we accomplished just that with this Beauty and the Beast garden party.
A PERFECT BEAUTY AND THE BEAST GARDEN PARTY
The entryway I wanted to feel like the beginning of the movie where Belle walks through the village but with a girly twist, of course. I covered the walls with pink kraft paper and set up a table with an awning, crates, and lots of flowers. I made all of the flower arrangements myself. Roses remind me of Beauty and the Beast so I got 2 shades of pink roses and a few red ones too. Then I mixed in some purple to match the plates from the movie and lots of greenery to make it more wild.
Once you passed the entry of our Beauty and the Beast garden party, you were brought to the “Be Our Guest” inspired dining room complete with pink chandelier and gold candelabra. I tied in the kraft paper from the entryway to this table with these brown and gold scalloped place mats topped with pink paperware and gold crowns for each guest. Eucalyptus and pink confetti were the table runner capped with more flowers.
Behind the table was the cake display. The shelves held a beautiful cascading balloon garland with various shades of pink. The 2 plates that mimic those from the movie, I made out of paper. Desserts included vanilla macarons, cupcakes, and custom Belle dress cookies. The cake was standing alone on it’s own table with a custom cake topper that read “Make a Wish”. White baby’s breath and pink carnation garland filled in the last shelf below the gold glitter Happy Birthday banner.
For the adults, I created a grazing table for them to snack on and also serve their kids from. It ran down the center so they could still sit at the table if they wanted to. The centerpiece of that table was a handmade Enchanted Rose replica. The kids painted cookies with edible watercolors, played with their blowers, wands, and crowns and were entertained by Belle herself from Enchanted Fairytale Parties. It was a truly magical Beauty and the Beast garden party and day!
