You all loved when our party contributor, Erin Choquette, styled this super cute kids' Easter party, so we brought her back to share this gorgeous S'mores table, perfect for summer nights.
Who's ready for summertime s'mores? This past weekend we were able to sit out on our patio and enjoy roasting marshmallows and crafting s'mores with our neighbors and their 3 year old. I also have a 3 year old so I wanted to make the s'mores table set up special and fun for the girls. My goal was to keep the set up small, casual, fun and pretty. Trying to achieve the perfect combo of kid and adult friendly!
I used my daughter's kid picnic table from Ikea to display all of the items and it worked out well because the kids sat there to not only roast their marshmallows, but also to assemble and eat their s'mores. The three tier plate tray was used to display chocolate chips and graham crackers. I prefer to use chocolate chips for s'mores with little kids. It's less chocolate consumption and it's fun for them to sprinkle on the chocolate chips. It's more of a project for them!
I liked how the giant marshmallows looked in the jar and needed an additional item to sit on my three tiered tray so I used three mini white flowers I had laying around that I hadn't yet planted. I planted them in white ramekin dishes and displayed them on the white tray. This brought everything together because on the other side of the gas fire pit I have a planter filled with the same white flowers.
The kid friendly colorful s'mores sticks and the more adult look of the white flowers meshed well together. I wanted to use a printable on the table so I went to Pinterest and searched, free s'mores printables. I chose the blue and white printable by Clean & Scentsible because it fit in nicely with our patio decor, but there are a lot of free s'mores printables available through other sites.
